This 1970's era cabin has a wonderful private location
overlooking a beautiful seasonal creek in Fern Valley. |

The exterior plywood siding was in need of painting and the overall look of the cabin was rather plain. Cedar shingles were added to the upper gable areas and batting was installed to break up the uninteresting lower siding. |

 |
Historic bungalow colors were used to paint the siding, trim, knee bracing and the front door. New light fixtures were also added. |
 |
 |
While the cabin still blends well with the forested setting, it is now more architecturally interesting. |

The sliding door off the kitchen was removed and a dining nook was added. |
